How does your Website look like on a mobile device?

The way your website looks like on a mobile device has a lot of impact on your web visitors.

Try it, take out your mobile device, and enter your website’s url.
What do you see? Are you able to view all your content clearly? Do the images fit on the mobile screen? What about the menu? How does it look like?
If you have to zoom in order to view your web page clearly, then it means that your website design wasn’t optimized for smaller screens.

According to the Communication Authority of Kenya (CA), for the period July-September 2014 Mobile data/internet usage increased by 5.9 percent to 14.7 million up from 13.9 million that was recorded in the previous quarter.

What this means for you as a business owner is that your website visitors are increasingly going mobile.

Here is an example of one of our clients website that we implemented responsive mobile website design.

As you can see the content is resized to fit the smaller screen of an iPhone or any other mobile device.

Website not optimized for small mobile screens
Africa-horizon website not optimized for mobileAs you can see from the screenshot above, one has to zoom in for them to be able to view the content of the website.
As an internet or mobile user, I wouldn’t spend even a minutes on this website just because of its design.

So how does your website really look like on a mobile device? Do you like it’s design? do you think your website visitors love the experience on your website?
